You there, time, slow the heck down :)

Ah rats... 'rare small mid-week post' was pretty much a month ago.

Well, this one is going to be small too but I think the Mustelae Cerebri have (actually unwittingly since I wasn't writing 'cause they were particularly around then and only 'cause I didn't have the necessary focus for anything else) hung out at the top of the pile long enough.

It's been a really pretty strange past month but the strangeness looks to have finally dissipated this week and I'm glad for that and think I've gotten something out of it (thankfully). :)

The best indicator to me that the strangeness is over is that a hammer hit today (yet another lovely co-worker laid off) and instead of it producing a reeling effect (and when I imagine some Good Solid Reeling I imagine a whole lot of staggering backwards) instead it focused me (something like... it hitting a bell and you tune in to the effect -- the sound, how it feels in your chest if it's large enough -- it produces less than you react to the effect [flinch, stagger]).

Nothing much more to this other than to say it 'cause what I really want to do here is set this down as a marker (something I've never tended to do but that I'm getting more interested in all the time).
