tetsab: Extreme close up of a block of ice with some light reflected off it (Default)
Right then, so my previous post was titled "looks like it's My Thing to never write what I say I plan to write next". Turns out I don't even need to say it, I just need to spend time thinking about what I plan to write and that will be good enough for me not to (and, yes, that means I'm now two posts of Not Writing away from that first thing 'cause the thing I'd planned to more recently write, for two weekends now, have been the answers to my Pretty Interesting interview meme questions!

I can't write 'em now 'cause it's quarter to 11 the night before I go back to work (where 'till Thursday at the earliest I'll be chock-a-block and not likely to be writing) and I'm still making my lunch for the week(!). So on a related note, I really gotta totally give up on this experiment of aiming to write personally on the interwebs only on the weekends as it's not serving me well!

So in the last 5 minutes before it's time for the next step of my recipe here are three things NMA:

1. Justin Sullivan talking
2. Justin Sullivan (et al.) playing
3. ...and thanks to the 2nd last thing Justin Sullivan et al. played there was the (somewhat) surprising discovery that Sepultura did a cover of them (but not surprising in the least that they picked that track).

It's somewhat surprising as I'm not familiar with anyone covering NMA, never mind a group that's as well known within its own world as that one is. Turns out there's a small niche of metal covers of NMA (to helpfully and tidily firmly tie those three points wholly together).

Alright, still planning (uh oh) to work backwards here: answers next and then British pop culture (I've even still got my 50p tea coupon within reaching distance to quote!).
