... annnnnnd that's it! That's all she wrote (in the ole calendar) for IRL stuff in 2021. Yeesh.
The highlight, I think, was the trip to the Islands for that birthday party. I love the Islands in general and it was the right balance of perfect weather (not too hot, not too cold) with multiple humans (most strangers to me) being well-behaved through to the sunset pack-up.
January
- 01st: A co-worker drops off a counter-top dishwasher he no longer needs 'cause he's just moved into a full size house in my neighbourhood. Have I installed this dish-washer to date yet? No. No I have not (so I guess I don't hate hand-washing dishes quite as much as I hate the idea of dealing with plumbing!)
- Picked-up by sister after work to visit for my birthday
February
- 12th: Work grants us a bonus day off for an extra long weekend. What did I do with it? Probably just stared at my computer like most days!
- 26th:
evening_tsar visit
March
- 19th: 'tsar again
April
- 07th: 'Best friend from highschool' (BFFH) pops by
May
- 21st: Another bonus day off. Just as many ??? about what I got up to as the Feb one!
August
- 14th: Visit for sister's birthday
- 20th: Meet up with co-workers in a local park for a picnic
September
- 03rd: Beers on a patio with one of my former direct reports
- 11th: Dinner with BFFH
- 18th: Off to the Toronto Islands to celebrate the birthday of one of
evening_tsar's friends
October
- 02th: Guided local ravine walk with 'tsar
- 24th: 'tsar birthday dinner
November
- 06th: Pre-NaDruWriNi pub music night quiz (1st since March 7th, 2020)
- 08th: Drove myself to Bracebridge for a week (loads of walking in the day and watching Netflix She-Ra in the evening ;P)
- 30th: First concert since February 2020! (Just before Omicron rather abruptly became a thing): She Past Away & K0M0D0
