tetsabWhen I picture the rhythm of the year I tend to picture Not Bloody Much in the cold months and a fair bit more for the rest. This is because I hate the cold and am generally inclined to hibernate. Once again, the value of doing these lists is that I can actually scroll through them and see that, really, this is just a picture in my head and not actually reality, but, in 2024...

- 12th: [Birth of a heap of surprise rats from the new surprise rat I was looking after]
- 29th: Aladdin [with best friend from highschool who'd picked up a season's theatre pass; not recommended]
- 09th: Bach Elgar choir does Handel
- 16th: Daytrip to Parry Sound to drop off all the surprise rats at a rescue [where they were happily all adopted within a month]
- 07th: Royal Ontario Museum
- 08th: Daytrip to Niagara Falls for the total eclipse [mostly marred by clouds but still an interesting experience]
- 15th: Toronto East Cyclists (remote)
- 20th: Embroidery workshop
- 22nd: Bevel Suncatcher workshop
- 23rd: Civic hacknight (remote)
- 04th: Jesus Christ Superstar [with season pass friend; this was a well done production but I've sure see ones that weren't]
- 09th: Kronos Quartet with half of Team Does Stuff
- 11th: Bach Elgar Space Journey reprise
- 16th: Hadestown [surprise, surprise, with season pass friend; recommended]
- 25th: Doors Open Toronto
- 27th: The Damned with evening_tsar as bday gift
- 01st: Dance 'til Dusk [AKA goth night but from 3-7]
- 08th: Retirement party for best friend from high school's father [again... 'cause when he 'retired' last year he kept doing things on contract]
- 10th: Oakridge neighbourhood street plans
- 13th: Murdoch Mysteries escape room with a heap of family for Mum's bday
- 17th: Toronto East Cyclists (remote)
- 21st: Drive to Ohio for celebration of life for 'aunt' [Dad's cousin we always called aunt]
- 22nd: Celebration of Life for aunt; home the next day
- 29th: Mandarin dinner for Mum's bday / goodbye dinner for some heap of the family
- 02nd: Danforth-Kingston for All (remote)
- 05th: Kintsugi workshop
- 06th: Dinner with Mum
- 09th: Nonprofit SF user group (remote)

- 19th: Day off where I probably did nothing interesting
- 20th: Xmas in July [looked back and saw this kicked off in 2022]

- 01st: Memorial for evening_tsar's gran [who made it to 99!]
